padhna bhi bahana hai, asliyat main hame to jashn manana hai…

We don’t deserve the tag of “know-it-alls”. By we I mean me; a Gen-Z. I don’t know many things; things my parents think “today’s generation” definitely knows. Like Technology. I want to. I try to. But I don’t. Which is true for many people, I guess.

The thing about technology is, once you’ve entered the tech-istaan, you’ll adapt gradually. But if you’ll keep looking from outside, it might feel intimidating. Just like when hundred was a big number in kindergarten, all these things will start looking small one day. We just need to remind ourselves that learning is not ‘done’ done yet. It’s nothing to feel embarrassed or guilty about if you're not there yet. It’s not a race, remember? No need to hurt your egos for these things.

Just don’t give up on education. I know you are tired, just like all Indian kids. You are tired of this never-ending cycle of races and competitions. But think for once. You’ve got this time, this chance to learn something which you can learn at your own pace. If you want to try things out, now is the best time to do it. Open a YouTube video; google random things as you come by them, learn from the best and experienced people; free of cost. Data is overflowing and not a lot people are hoarding it. So be the one, if you still got some energy left.
